Our Gecko Gauge is the best friend of anyone installing Hardie Plank cladding. These practically eliminate layout time and significantly speed installation of the cladding. Gecko Gauge are a must if you are installing your James Hardie cladding alone!

Installing with Gecko Gauge

All you need to do is clamp a pair of Gecko Gauges to the siding course of your fibre cement cladding letting them gauge and prop the next course of nailing. The Gecko Gauges are designed to hold the weight of 3.6 metre James Hardie boards due to their friction-cam mechanism. The gauge adjusts to various sizes such as 10mm for 100mm-240mm reveals and is desgined for the thickness of the James Hardie boards (8mm).

*This product is specifically designed for the European James Hardie cladding boards, for 8mm thick fibre cement cladding products. The gauges are preset to the standard reveal of 150mm for 180mm wide Hardie^® Plank cladding. Please note that there are other products on the market that are intended for use with the American hardie plank boards and may not be suitable for James Hardie cladding sold by us.
