Introducing Dulux Trade Undercoat, a premium solvent-based undercoat designed to complement Dulux Trade High Gloss, delivering impeccable opacity and exceptional gloss retention. This undercoat is specially formulated for application on properly prepared and primed interior and exterior wood and metal surfaces, including skirting boards, doors, and furniture.

Proper surface preparation is essential for optimal results. Before painting, ensure the surface is free of any loose or flaking paint, and fill any holes or cracks. Additionally, ensure the surface is clean and free of any dirt or debris. For bare surfaces, apply one coat of a suitable primer before proceeding.

Apply one coat of Dulux Trade Undercoat, followed by one or two coats of your chosen topcoat, such as Dulux Trade High Gloss. Allow a minimum of 6 hours for the undercoat to dry before applying the topcoat. If using an oil-based topcoat, allow a minimum of 16 hours between coats for thorough drying.
