Within this procedure, the composite cladding has to undergo tests such as how it reacts to fire, the smoke produced, heat transmitted, flame spread and emission of flaming particles. Thus, from this it can be deemed safe enough to be used on buildings so that in the unlikely event of a fire, the material would prevent severe damage or the spread of a fire.
