The Knipex 02 06 180 VDE High Leverage Combination Pliers are powerful, professional pliers designed for electrical installation and general trade applications. Engineered with an optimised leverage system, these pliers require up to 35% less effort than conventional combination pliers, making cutting, gripping, bending and pulling tasks significantly easier.
VDE tested up to 10,000V and safe for working on live equipment up to 1,000V, they conform to DIN EN / IEC 60900 standards, providing essential safety for electricians. Manufactured from high-grade special tool steel that is forged and multi-stage oil-hardened, these pliers deliver exceptional durability and long service life. The chrome plated finish adds corrosion resistance and a professional appearance.
The long cutting edges allow efficient cutting of thicker cables, while the integrated gripping zones handle both flat and round materials. The cutting edges are hardened to approximately 63 HRC, enabling reliable cutting of soft wire, hard wire and even piano wire. Fitted with ergonomic multi-component VDE insulated grips, the Knipex 02 06 180 combination pliers provide excellent comfort, control and safety for demanding electrical work.
