The Knipex 13 96 200 VDE Multifunctional Installation Pliers with Opening Spring 200mm are a professional 6-in-1 electrical installation tool designed to perform multiple tasks efficiently with a single pair of pliers. VDE tested up to 10,000V and approved for safe working up to 1,000V, these pliers comply with DIN EN / IEC 60900, making them ideal for electricians working on live electrical systems.

Manufactured from forged vanadium electric steel and multi-stage oil-hardened, the pliers deliver excellent strength, durability and long service life. The chrome plated finish provides corrosion resistance, while the slim head design allows easy access when working inside junction boxes or confined electrical installations. A precision bolted joint with zero-backlash operation ensures smooth and accurate handling.

These multifunction pliers combine six essential functions including gripping, cutting, stripping and crimping. Smooth gripping surfaces near the tips allow delicate handling of single conductors, while serrated gripping surfaces and a pipe grip securely hold flat and round materials. The tool also includes precision stripping holes, a crimping die for wire-end ferrules and induction-hardened cable shears capable of cutting copper and aluminium cables up to 5 x 2.5mm² or 15mm diameter.

This model features an integrated opening spring within the joint, improving working comfort and speed during repetitive tasks. The activated locking lever keeps the cutting edges closed while other functions remain active, while the intelligent latching mechanism allows the tool to grip materials without fully opening the pliers, protecting the cutting edges and improving efficiency during installation work.
