The Bahco 21HDG-160 ERGO™ Side Cutting Heavy-Duty Pliers 160mm (6.1/4in) are engineered for extreme durability and high-performance cutting in demanding professional environments. Manufactured from high-performance steel with a black anti-corrosion finish, these pliers feature induction-hardened cutting edges at 62 HRC and are designed to outlive more than 50,000 cuts of hard wire. Progressive cutting edges allow hard materials such as piano wire to be cut close to the joint, while softer materials like copper and plastic insulated wire can be cut at the tip. The heavy-duty cutting edge provides strong, consistent cutting across the entire blade, and the reinforced metal frame is built to withstand extreme conditions and extra-hard wires. A precision screw joint ensures smooth operation and accurate alignment, while the reduced distance between the joint and cutting edge increases leverage and cutting capacity. Round-shaped jaws improve accessibility in confined spaces, and the integrated return spring with on/off function enhances efficiency and comfort during repetitive cutting tasks.
