The 4TRADE External Air Admittance Valve is manufactured from modified PVCu, offering outstanding durability and secure solvent weld jointing. With the added benefit of PVC-C, it provides superior fire performance and a high softening point, ensuring it is not affected by very hot water discharges. Designed to allow the free entry of air into sanitary pipework systems while preventing the escape of foul gases, this A1 approved valve (BS EN 12380) can be installed below the flood level of connected appliances. Tested for use between -20°C and +60°C without insulation, it delivers an airflow of 30.8 L/s. This valve removes the need for unsightly ventilation stacks, eliminates roof-level pipework handling, and reduces installation time, making it a cost-effective and reliable solution.
