73 06 160 VDE X-Cut® Compact Diagonal Cutter 160mm

The Knipex 73 06 160 VDE X-Cut® Compact Diagonal Cutter 160mm is a powerful and compact cutting tool designed for professional electricians and tradespeople. VDE tested up to 10,000V and approved for safe working up to 1,000V, these cutters comply with DIN EN / IEC 60900, ensuring safe use during electrical installation and maintenance work.

Featuring the advanced X-Cut® design, this compact diagonal cutter delivers exceptional cutting performance while remaining lightweight and easy to handle. The box-joint construction provides high stability with smooth, zero-backlash movement, while the slim head design allows excellent access in tight or confined spaces such as electrical cabinets and junction boxes.

Engineered for versatility, the cutter easily handles fine strands, multi-stranded cables and even hard piano wire. Thanks to the optimised cutting geometry, the tool requires around 20% less effort than conventional diagonal cutters of the same size when cutting medium-hard wire. The multi-component VDE insulated grips provide comfort, control and secure handling during extended professional use.
