The Knipex 74 06 180 VDE High Leverage Diagonal Cutter is a heavy-duty cutting tool designed for professional electrical work where safety and cutting performance are essential. VDE tested up to 10,000V and approved for safe use on live equipment up to 1,000V, these cutters conform to DIN EN / IEC 60900 standards, making them ideal for electricians and electrical installers.
Manufactured from high-quality vanadium electric steel, the cutter is forged and multi stage oil-hardened to deliver exceptional strength, durability and long service life. The chrome plated finish provides additional corrosion resistance while maintaining a professional appearance for demanding work environments.
The precision cutting edges are additionally induction hardened to approximately 64 HRC and feature an integrated forged axle for cutting all types of wire, including piano wire. Optimised cutting edge geometry and transmission ratio ensure high cutting performance while requiring minimal effort from the user. Fitted with ergonomic multi-component insulated handles, the Knipex 74 06 180 diagonal cutters provide comfort, safety and reliable performance for professional electrical applications.
