The Knipex 74 12 180 High Leverage Diagonal Cutters are designed for very tough, continuous cutting applications and deliver powerful cutting performance with minimal effort. Built for professional use, these cutters easily handle a wide variety of wires including demanding materials such as piano wire.
Manufactured from premium chrome vanadium heavy-duty steel, the cutters are forged and multi-stage oil-hardened to provide exceptional strength and durability. The precision cutting edges are additionally induction hardened to approximately 64 HRC, ensuring reliable performance and long-lasting sharpness even under heavy use.
The optimised coordination of cutting edge angle and transmission ratio allows for maximum cutting efficiency while reducing the force required by the user. These cutters are fitted with lightweight multi-component soft grip handles for improved comfort and control, and also feature an optional opening spring which can be activated when required to assist with faster, more comfortable repetitive cutting tasks.
