The Knipex 86 09 180 V01 Protective Jaws are designed to allow safe use of a pliers wrench on designer fittings and highly sensitive materials. Featuring soft, smooth gripping surfaces, these protective jaws prevent scratching and surface damage, making them ideal for chrome, polished fittings and decorative components.
They are also suitable for use when the original jaws of a pliers wrench have become marked through improper or rough use, restoring a smooth contact surface. Easy to fit and engineered to hold firmly in place, these protective inserts provide a practical solution for protecting delicate workpieces. Supplied as a pack of three and compatible with all Knipex 86 XX 180 models (from 2019 onwards).
