The Knipex 87 01 400 Cobra® XL Pipe Wrench & Water Pump Pliers are heavy-duty professional pliers designed for powerful gripping and adjustment of large pipes, nuts and fittings. With an extra-long 400mm (16 inch) design, these pliers provide exceptional leverage and control, making them ideal for demanding plumbing, installation and industrial maintenance applications.
Manufactured from chrome vanadium electric steel that has been forged and multi-stage oil-hardened, these pliers deliver outstanding durability and long service life even in tough working environments. The gripping surfaces feature specially hardened teeth with a hardness of approximately 61 HRC, ensuring excellent wear resistance and a secure, stable grip on pipes, nuts and other components.
The push-button adjustment system allows fast and precise positioning directly on the workpiece. With 27 adjustment positions, the pliers offer fine adjustment for optimal adaptation to different workpiece sizes, providing excellent versatility across a wide range of tasks.
