The Knipex 95 12 200 Cable Shears with Twin Cutting Edge Comfort Handles 200mm are professional-grade cable cutters designed for clean and precise cutting of copper and aluminium cables. Equipped with precision-ground, hardened twin cutting edges, these shears provide smooth cuts without crushing or deforming the cable, making them ideal for electricians, installers and maintenance professionals.
Manufactured from high-grade special tool steel, the shears are forged and oil-hardened for exceptional durability and long service life. The innovative twin cutting edge design divides the cutting process into two stages: the front cutting area cuts through the cable insulation, while the rear cutting area completes the conductor cut. This allows cables up to 20mm diameter (70mm²) to be cut easily using one-hand operation.
The optimised lever ratio and special blade geometry ensure powerful cutting performance with minimal hand force required. For added safety, a pinch guard protects fingers during operation, while the adjustable bolted joint with self-retaining screw ensures smooth and reliable tool performance. The ergonomic comfort handles provide excellent grip and enhanced comfort during prolonged use.
Note: Not suitable for steel wire or hard drawn copper conductors.
