The Knipex 95 31 280 Ratchet Action Cable Shears are powerful professional cutting tools designed for clean and efficient cutting of copper and aluminium cables, including single and multi-core conductors. Built for durability and performance, these cable shears deliver smooth, precise cuts without crushing or deforming the cable.

Manufactured from high-grade special tool steel that has been forged and oil-hardened, the shears feature precision-ground and hardened cutting blades for reliable cutting performance and long service life. The advanced blade design ensures clean cuts that maintain the integrity of the cable during installation or maintenance work.

Equipped with a two-stage ratchet drive mechanism, the shears provide excellent cutting power while requiring minimal hand force. The high transmission ratio allows comfortable one-hand operation, making the tool highly efficient when cutting larger diameter cables.

For improved handling and comfort, the tool features ergonomic two-component soft grip handles, providing a secure grip and greater control during use. With a cutting capacity of up to Ø52mm or 380mm², these cable shears are suitable for heavy-duty cable cutting tasks, including aluminium sector cables up to 4 x 150mm².
