The Knipex 95 62 160 Wire Rope Cutters are compact yet powerful cutters designed for professional cable and wire rope applications. Despite their lightweight 160mm design, these cutters deliver exceptional cutting performance and require up to 30% less physical effort compared to other wire rope cutters of the same size, thanks to the integrated opening spring that assists smooth operation.
Manufactured from high-quality ball bearing steel, these cutters feature a durable double-mounted box joint design that provides excellent stability and strength during demanding cutting tasks. The precision cutting edges are additionally induction hardened to approximately 64 HRC, ensuring long-lasting sharpness and reliable cutting performance.
Ideal for cutting wire rope, copper and aluminium cables, as well as single and multi-stranded cables including ACSR cable, these cutters provide clean and efficient results. A secure locking mechanism allows the tool to be safely closed for transportation and storage, while the ergonomic multi-component handles offer a comfortable, non-slip grip for improved control during use.
