Hults Bruk Ågelsjön Mini Hatchet

The Hults Bruk Ågelsjön Mini Hatchet is the smallest hatchet in the Hults Bruk range, designed for hikers, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts who need a lightweight yet capable cutting tool. Hand forged from premium Swedish steel, the axe head is struck 40–60 times during the forging process to increase the density and durability of the steel. The convex grind cutting edge provides excellent sharpness and strength, allowing the hatchet to deliver reliable performance for tasks such as preparing kindling, light chopping, and campsite work. Each axe is sharpened, polished, and ready for immediate use.

The handle is crafted from high-quality American hickory and treated with linseed oil to improve durability while providing a comfortable and natural grip. This traditional handle design offers excellent control and balance despite the hatchet’s compact size.

Supplied with a protective leather axe sheath for safe storage and transport, the hatchet is named after the nearby lake Ågelsjön, whose water once powered the historic forge.
