SFC Steel Frame Channel (Bundle of 20)

The SFC Steel Frame Channel system offers a reliable and efficient solution for tying brickwork to steel studding. Engineered for strength and flexibility, the channel is fixed into place using self-drill/self-tap screws that penetrate both insulation and steel studding. These screws feature an under-head high thread that ensures optimal channel support while preventing insulation compression. Compatible with VS9 channel ties, this system allows ties to be positioned anywhere along the channel, maintaining consistent cavity wall restraint across the build.

• Design: Steel frame channel system designed to tie brickwork to steel studding. Self-drill / self-tap screws fix through the channel and insulation into the steel studding. The screws have an under-head high thread which offers maximum support to the channel whilst preventing compression of the insulation material. VS9 ties are used with the channel to tie across the cavity into the masonry bed joint. The ties can be placed at any point along the length of the channel allowing full restraint to be maintained.
• Material: Manufactured from grade 304 stainless steel.
• Behaviour in relation to fire: Non combustible (as defined in the national Building Regulations).
• Durability: Excellent corrosion resistance and a service life of not less than 60 years.
