SSFT Starter Frame Ties

• Application – Used for fixing timber door and window frames to brickwork by building into mortar courses as construction progresses. Suitable for buildings up to a maximum of 8 metres or 3 storeys high.
• Design – Asymmetrical wall starter tie without drip feature, can be installed either way up.
• Material – Manufactured from grade 304 stainless steel.
• Behaviour in relation to fire – Non-combustible (as defined in the national Building Regulations).
• Durability – Excellent corrosion resistance and a service life of not less than 60 years.
• Thermal performance – Adequately resists thermal transmittance through a wall cavity where thermal losses through ties need to be considered.
