88 01 250 Alligator® Water Pump Pliers 250mm (Loose)

The Knipex 88 01 250 Alligator® Water Pump Pliers (Loose) are robust, high-performance gripping pliers designed for professional plumbing, installation and maintenance tasks. Featuring a durable box joint construction, these pliers provide excellent stability while preventing slipping from the workpiece, ensuring secure and efficient operation.

Manufactured from chrome vanadium electric steel and oil-hardened for durability, the Alligator® pliers deliver long-lasting performance even under demanding conditions. The gripping surfaces feature specially hardened teeth with a hardness of approximately 61 HRC, providing outstanding wear resistance and a secure grip on pipes, nuts and fittings.

Designed to offer greater output and comfort compared to conventional water pump pliers of the same length, the tool includes a 9-notch adjustment mechanism that allows fast positioning and delivers up to 30% more gripping capacity. The slim head and joint design improves access to tight spaces, making it easier to work in confined installation areas.

The self-locking function on pipes and nuts ensures a secure hold without slipping while requiring minimal hand force, helping to reduce fatigue during extended use.
