The LSF (zero halogen) cable gland kits are designed to ensure safety in both dry and wet environments by eliminating smoke-generating constituents, particularly halogens such as fluorine, bromine, and chlorine. This innovative design avoids the hazards associated with highly irritant and noxious fumes emitted by standard materials. Each kit includes an LSF gland, LSF shroud, and a brass locknut with an earth tag, ensuring a reliable and secure installation. The kits have received LUL approval to EN 42-A2 1996 and have been tested to EN50267-2-1 standards. Their simple, effective two-part arrangement allows for both direct and remote installation, with operational capabilities ranging from -60°C to 200°C. The product is also EMC tested and suitable for cables with a diameter of 55.7mm.
