This LSF (Low Smoke and Fume) cable gland kit is designed for use in both dry and wet environments. It ensures safety by utilising materials that are free from smoke-generating constituents, particularly halogens such as fluorine, bromine, and chlorine. This avoids the release of highly irritant and noxious fumes typically emitted by standard materials. The kit includes an LSF gland, LSF shroud, brass locknut, and earth tag, offering a simple, effective two-part arrangement for both direct and remote installation. The gland is tested to EN50267-2-1 and approved by LUL to EN 42-A2 1996. It operates within a temperature range of -60°C to 200°C and has been EMC tested. The gland is suitable for cables with a diameter of 68.2 mm.
