Hults Bruk Qvarfot Felling Axe

The Hults Bruk Qvarfot Felling Axe is a versatile forestry tool designed for small-scale tree felling, wood processing, and general forest work. Hand forged from premium Swedish quality steel, the axe head is struck 40–60 times during the forging process to increase the density and durability of the metal. This traditional method produces a strong, reliable blade with excellent edge retention. The convex grind cutting edge provides efficient cutting performance while maintaining the strength required for demanding forestry tasks.

The handle is crafted from high-quality American hickory and treated with linseed oil to improve durability while offering a comfortable, natural grip. This traditional wooden handle delivers excellent balance, control, and shock absorption during use.

Supplied sharpened, polished, and ready to use, the axe also includes a protective leather sheath for safe storage and transport. Named after the Qvarfot family, who worked as blacksmiths at Hults Bruk for generations, this axe represents the heritage and craftsmanship that has defined Swedish axe making for centuries.
