Designed to sit around the outside of the downpipe, the sleeve simply slides up to reveal the trap or allow a maintenance rod to pass through—perfect for clearing silt and leaf build-up beneath valleys or long runs. Pair it with an RT drain trap for a neat, serviceable base-of-stack detail that protects paving and foundations. Built from Lindab’s Magestic galvanised steel, the zinc–magnesium enhanced coating stabilises the surface and protects zinc’s naturally porous structure for excellent corrosion resistance with minimal upkeep—even on exposed or coastal sites. Supplied unpainted, it weathers to a refined dark-grey patina that suits both heritage masonry and contemporary cladding, and integrates cleanly with matching Magestic pipes, brackets, bends and shoes for a durable, recyclable metal rainwater system.
