The Apollo XP95 Ancillary Sounder Base is a reliable, loop-powered sounder designed for indoor use with Apollo XP95, Discovery, and Soteria detectors. Engineered for local-area alarm signalling, this unit is ideal for fire detection systems that require discreet but effective audible alerts. Constructed from flame-retardant white polycarbonate with nickel-plated stainless steel contacts, the base can support a loop-powered beacon or a detector. It produces an alternating tone and features adjustable volume control from 70 to 85dBA, with a low current draw of just 3mA. Although the sounder is not addressable and lacks synchronisation or pulsed tone options, it is fully compliant with CPR Regulation 305/2011/EU, making it a cost-effective and standards-compliant addition to your fire alarm system.
