V26 Traditional Double Triangle Wall Ties are a classic, general-purpose solution for cavity wall construction in domestic properties and small commercial buildings. Suitable for cavity widths from 0 to 150mm and buildings up to 15m in height, these Type 2 & 3* wall ties offer reliable performance in low to moderate wind load conditions. Featuring a traditional double triangle design with a multidrip feature to prevent moisture transfer, the V26 can be installed either way up for added convenience. Made from high-quality grade 304 stainless steel, these ties combine proven design with excellent durability and corrosion resistance.

  • Application:
    Type 2: For small commercial buildings and domestic properties up to 15m high, on flat sites where wind speeds do not exceed 31m/s and altitude is below 150m.
    Type 3: As above, but suitable where wind speeds do not exceed 27m/s.
  • Design: Traditional Double Triangle wall tie, previously to BS1243, with multidrip feature to prevent moisture crossing the cavity. Can be installed either way up.
  • Material: Manufactured from grade 304 stainless steel.
  • Fire Resistance: Non-combustible (as defined in the national Building Regulations).
  • Durability: Excellent corrosion resistance and a service life of not less than 60 years.
  • Compliance: Tested as Type B (sound) and as Type 2 & 3* (strength) to BS EN 845-1.
  • Specification: Available for specification as a Type 2 wall tie or as a Type 3 wall tie on the NBS Source platform.
